11 March 2008Monk is caught on robbery in a German sex shop
Moscow, March 7, Interfax – A Benedictine monk was caught stealing several porno movies in a sex shop of the German town Wurzburg.
When his room in the Maria Laach monastery (state of Rheinland-Pfalz) was searched, policemen found 230 porno movies and not all of them were acquired legally.
The 49-year-old monk tried to hide four gay porno movies in a pocket of his jacket, but a saleswoman took a notice of his actions. He turned his back but later was detained by passer-byes.
The monk’s attempt to throw the films in a rubbish bin wasn’t a success as the police located the DVD. He confessed of a robbery.
He is to be prosecuted in the court or punished on Prosecutor’s office demand without running a process. If later, the monk will escape an open court sitting, the Spiegel weekly writes as cited by the Inopressa website.
