Moscow, October 28, Interfax - Church guard of the Church of Three Ecumenical Holy Fathers in the town of Popasnaya of the Ukrainian Lugansk Region Leonid Zheleznyakov was shot by an Ukrainian soldier.
"Autopsy has shown there were seven bullets from the Makarov pistol: at the temple, jaw, hip and hand. There were no traces of struggling or robbery. Traces of the crime were not hidden, which proves that the criminal-member of the punitive expedition was sure in his impudence," rector of the mentioned church and nephew of the killed guard Archpriest Alexander Strebakov told toInterfax-Religion.
The crime was committed in the church guard house. Militia searches the suspect.
"The motive of the crime is nothing else that hatred to the Moscow Patriarchate. According to the officers, the murderer is an adherent of the "Kiev Patriarchate"," the interviewee of the agency said.
