Moscow, December 2, Interfax - The Russian Orthodox Church's commission for overcoming the schism with the so-called Kiev Patriarchate is ready to work, Vladimir Legoyda, the head of the Synodal Department for Church, Society and Media Relations, said on Saturday.
"The commission has been set up, and if there is interest in continuing a dialogue, some steps will follow on the part of the Kiev Patriarchate, and perhaps there will be a dialogue," Legoyda said at a press conference in summing up the outcomes of the Russian Orthodox Church Bishops' Council in Moscow. |
