30 January 2019, 18:00Computer game inspired by conflict between Russian Orthodox Church, Constantinople may be created in Russia
Moscow, January 30, Interfax - A computer game inspired by the conflict between the Moscow Patriarchate and Constantinople received the most support of any project in the gamification section at the Christmas Readings in Moscow.
The main character of the game would be Orthodox Metropolitan Nikolay, who receives the patriarch's blessing to create a Second-Rome and Antalya Metropolitanate in Istanbul.
"The metropolitan will need to use a lot of diplomatic talents in talks with officials, will avoid being killed by the Gulen and Bozkurt sects, will resist the temptation of eating salo in chocolate, and will ultimately defeat the main villain, Barmalei. But he won't kill him; he'll reason with him in a brotherly manner and will accept him as Bishop Zolotorozhsky," Roman Silantyev, professor at the Moscow State Linguistic University, who moderated the section, told Interfax. |
