The U.S. use Islamic Kosovo as a screen for its pro-Israel policy – former Yugoslavian ambassador to Russia

Moscow, February 18, Interfax – Establishment of the independent Islamic state of Kosovo is advantageous to America, elder brother of Yugoslavian ex-president Slobodan Milosevic Borislav believes.

‘Certainly, creation of a Muslim state will have certain consequences on Europe. It was eight or ten years ago that a number of European politicians warned: Kosovo developments were aimed at establishing a Muslim state,’ he said in an interview published by the Moskovsky Komsomolets daily on Monday.

Milosevic, former Yugoslavian ambassador to Russia, Americans consider Kosovo and Bosnia ‘a kind of polygons where they can make concessions to the Islamic world and reverences to the ‘cool’ Muslim regimes at a time when the U.S.A. backs Israel’s policy almost in everything.’

He also said that recognition of Kosovo independence is very ‘painful for every Serb, for every patriot.’

‘It’s a humiliation for all of us, humiliation of the whole nation. They take away the part of Serbian land and ignore official position of Serbian state and vital interests of Serbian people. They want to establish a false, new Albanian state on the territory of Serbia and present it to separatists. And the West acts in suit with Kosovan separatist leaders,’ Milosevic said.
