Imam and his son attacked in Ingushetia

Rostov-on-Don, August - Unidentified gunmen fired at the imam's house in the Almetyevsk municipal district of Nazran, Ingushetia, the republic's law enforcement agencies told Interfax.

The criminals called Imam Ali Buruzhev out to the street late at night. When he went out, they fired at him from automatic guns.

The imam was injured, but managed to get back to the house. When his son heard the noise, he came out and was also injured by the gangsters.

According to a police officer, from 12 to 15 shells from the Kalashnikov gun were found on the fire site.

The imam and his son were taken to the hospital, their condition is satisfactory.

The similar attack on the Ingush Deputy Mufti Kambulat Zyazikov took place in Nazran late in June. The criminals shot at him when he was driving his personal car. Zyazikov was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
