House of Romanovs urges initiators of South Ossetian conflict to stop "political maneuvers pleasing overseas masters"

Moscow, August 11, Interfax - Head of the Romanovs' House Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna is deeply concerned with ongoing conflict in South Ossetia.

"As a head of the Russian Imperial House and half-Georgian by the origin, she is outraged with criminal actions of politicians who serve the interests of their foreign masters, turn their territory in a polygon for trials of foreign weapons and sacrifice their people. We should remember, one historical destiny unites Russian and Georgian peoples," the head of the Russian Imperial House's chancellery Alexander Zakatov told Interfax.

According to him, the Grand Duchess stresses, "this conflict is imposed from the outside and urges its organizers to give up unprincipled political maneuvers pleasing their overseas masters."
