Lying body of monk failed to bar homosexual singer's concert in Yekaterinburg

Moscow, November 21, Interfax - Hieromonk Flavian of the Yekaterinburg diocese kept his word and lied on a rug at the entrance to a concert hall to upset a concert of Boris Moiseyev, but the performance took place.

The main goal of a clergyman was to stop the fans of ‘a leader of post-Soviet homosexualism’. He had been sure that many of Moiseyev’s fans could ‘disgrace themselves, steeping over a priest’, Izvestia daily wrote on Tuesday.

However, all tickets were sold out; the hall was filled to capacity.

‘I do not think that this priest is long enough to block all entrances to the concert hall, - chief administrator Vadim said. - Our security will provide free entrance to all who bought tickets.’

Vadim said that the artist had known about the action, but took it calmly.

As it turned out, many people came for the scandal.

‘It’s cool!’ a girl in the crowd exclaimed pointing out to Fr. Flavian as he was lying down on a synthetic rug at the entrance. She took pictures of the priest lying in his robes on the floor and members of the ‘Orthodox students’ brotherhood’ standing by and reading the prayer service for ‘healing Boris, the sick servant of God’.
