Russia ready to work with Islamists coming to power in Arab countries – Lavrov

Moscow, March 14, Interfax - Russia is ready to work with the new administrations of Egypt and Libya, including Islamist parties coming to power, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

"Independent regimes are formed there, in which processes are formed that will eventually reflect the entire range of political forces. Yes, Islamist parties are coming to power there and we are ready to work with everyone," Lavrov told a "government hour" meeting in the State Duma on Wednesday.
