Single-person picket held outside UK Embassy in Moscow

Moscow, March 23, Interfax - A single-person picket was staged outside the UK Embassy in Moscow, a source in law enforcement agencies told Interfax.

"A resident of the Moscow region held a single-person picket outside the Embassy of the United Kingdom at Smolenskaya Embankment. The man was holding a banner reading "The British queen and her heirs are illegitimate. Britain has been sowing conflicts and revolutions, sheltering criminals and their money. The British are atheists because their queen realizes the Bible project of enslaving them in the name of God"," he said.

The man left after standing outside the diplomatic mission for some 40 minutes, the source said.

A Moscow police spokesman confirmed the report, saying that the action was not accompanied by any public order offences.
