26 April 2012, 14:53Renowned businessman got registration on Solovki to help the archipelago by paying taxes
Arkhangelsk, April 26, Interfax - A Russian businessman got a residential registration on the Solovetsky Islands (the Arkhangelsk Region) to provide the archipelago with tax payments from his income.
A source in the regional government told Interfax that taxes on income of natural persons that the businessman is to pay make about 670 million rubles.
According to the interviewee of the agency, chairman of the board of the Wimm-Bill-Dann JSC Sergey Plastinin is the patron in question.
The Solovetsky museum is one of the biggest in Russia. It administers over thousand objects of cultural heritage, the oldest of them date back to the 5th millenium BC.
