Gorin Boruh, public relations director, Federation of Jewish Communities in Russia

Boruh Gorin was born on January 8, 1973, in Odessa, to the family of civil servants. examskip


He graduated from the Young Journalist School in Odessa in 1989. From 1990 to 1994, he attended the Theological Academy (yeshiva) in Moscow.

In 1991, he founded and became the head of Lehaim, a Jewish monthly, and a publishing house of the same name.

Since 1999, he has directed the FJCR public relations department and since 2000 the press service of Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar.

He is a member of the Coordinating Council of the World Congress of Russian-speaking Jewry.
