Cheboksary, March 31, Interfax – Not to attract unnecessary attention, Chuvashian President Nikolay Fedorov put on a wig and sun glasses when he was going on Easter shopping to a Chebokasry market.
The regional head started his morning with a visit to a small market in the Moscow District of the republic's capital and salesmen did not recognize him at once, press service of the republican administration reports.
"I love markets since my childhood. When we had vacations in schools, we sold here what we had grown ourselves. Now, my wife does the shopping, but I also do it myself rather often," Fedorov said.
On Easter eve, head of the region bought some cabbage, carrots, garlic and other food stuffs for a festival meal. There were no eggs in such an early hour.
