FJCR outraged by televiewers' vote, who called ISIL supporter "Person of the Week"

Moscow, January 16, Interfax - President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia Alexander Boroda believes impossible unilateral concessions of Israel in the Middle East conflict.

Thus he commented the results of vote of Al Jazeera spectators, who elected the Person of the Week a supporter of terrorist group Islamic State (banned in Russia) who drove a truck on passers-by in Jerusalem, killed several people and injured more than ten people.

"Vote of Al Jazeera audience illustrates how strongly the Arab society is infected with anti-Semitism," Boroda said.

According to him, it is a result of several dozen years of "intensive anti-Semite propaganda in disguise of anti-Israel propaganda, which is carried out in schools and universities, from minbars of mosques, pages of papers and television screens."

The Jewish leader further said that at such backgrounds he was perplexed with long-term demand of unilateral concessions from Israel - "the only democratic state in the region."

"It is impossible to come to agreement with those who make heroes of terrorists and instruct their youth that murder of Jews is an affair pleasing to God," Boroda stressed.
