Russian Muslims to take care of Syrian refugees and their school in Lebanon

Moscow, February 17, Interfax - The Spiritual Muslim Board of Russia helps the Middle-East refugees in Lebanon.

The Muslim Board decided to take under its auspices 50 refugees from Syria and 50 refugees from Palestine, who live in temporary camps in Lebanon, its press service reported on Friday.

Besides, the Spiritual Muslim Board took obligations to provide the school for Syrian children in Lebanon with all necessary facilities, about $30,000 is allotted for it.

Such decisions were taken at the meeting of mufti of Moscow Ildar Alyautdinov with the head of the Takaful charitable foundation Issam Bargut in Beirut.

The Russian Spiritual Muslim Administration also initiated a short-term fundraising and managed to collect over $100,000 to buy food, warm things and essentials.

The humanitarian help will be distributed among 5 thousand refugees. Several hundred families, who live in camps in North Lebanon at the Akkar District, have already received it with participation of the Muslim delegation from Moscow.
