FJCR conveyed matzo and juice for celebrating Passover in Donbass

Moscow, April 6, Interfax - The Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia helps Jews of Donetsk and Lugansk to get ready to the Passover celebrations on April 11.

It conveyed to local Jewish communities several hundreds kilos of matzo, Kosher grape juice, Kosher meat and other food for festival meals, the FJCR press service reports.

The Jewish community of Rostov-on-Don was involved in technical side of the question - processing requests, purchase, transport logistics, preparations to customs declaration of the cargo.

"For several years on Passover we send them matzo and other Kosher food so that Jewish communities of Donetsk and Lugansk, which suffered much from military actions and crisis, could celebrate festival seders observing all canons," the FJCR President Alexander Boroda said.
