Moscow, May 2, Interfax - Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia has prayed for the people who died in a fire in Odessa's House of Trade Unions three years ago, the patriarch's spokesman, priest Alexander Volkov, told Interfax-Religion.
"The patriarch prayed for all of the people who died in the House of Trade Unions during a religious service in the Intercession Monastery in Moscow on Tuesday, on the third anniversary of the tragedy in Odessa," he said.
Forty-eight people died and over 200 were injured in mass disturbances in Odessa on May 2, 2014. Most people died in the House of Trade Unions. The investigation established that the mass riots in Odessa had been orchestrated and deliberately plotted.
