Patriarch Kirill commemorated victims of Holocaust

Moscow, October 26, Interfax - Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia for the first time visited the Jewish Museum and the Center of Tolerance, opened in the Russian capital five years ago.

The visit of the Russian Church Primate was timed for the session of the Interreligious Council of Russia Presidium that was held in the museum.

The patriarch visited the interactive exposition set up in compliance with the top museum technologies and lit the commemorative candle at the stand with the names of the Holocaust victims.

Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar and President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia Alexander Boroda, who is also the museum director, personally showed the exposition to Patriarch Kirill.
