West unlike Russia lacks mutual respect, chief rabbi of Russia believes

Moscow, October 27, Interfax - Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar points out to the lack of mutual respect, which according to him, exists in western countries.

"Today, when thanks to God, we can live and spread our faith, today we have all opportunities to live in mutual respect, our task is to make chief values our national culture, culture of Russia," he said at a session of the Interreligious Council's Presidium.

According to the rabbi, this is the difference between West and Russia.

"West lacks mutual respect," the Jewish leader believes.
