Moscow, November 2, Interfax - The issue of burying the body of Vladimir Lenin is not on the Kremlin agenda, Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov said.
"It [the issue] is not on the agenda of the Kremlin administration," Peskov told reporters on Thursday, commenting on a statement by Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, on the matter.
Peskov said "various viewpoints are stated" on the issue of the Lenin burial. "This issue draws broad public response," he said.
Kadyrov earlier spoke in favor of burying Lenin's body on social networking websites.
