Moscow, November 13, Interfax - A particle of St. Seraphim of Sarov relics will be brought from Diveyevo Monastery to Greek town Patra on November 16 to November 26 with Patriarch’s Kirill blessing, St. Andrew the First-Called Foundation reports.
The bringing of the relics is timed to the inter-Orthodox conference The Voice of Apostle Andrew the First-Called in Modern World, which is held together with the Metropolia of Patra on November 17-18. The relics will stay in St. Andrew Cathedral in Patra.
The Foundation officials note that Greek people deeply venerate St. Seraphim of Sarov. It is expected that not only residents of Patra, but also believers from other Greek regions would come to venerate the shrine.
