Moscow, November 24, Interfax - Orientation of the Russian Federation on export of agricultural products will result in increasing share of halal production in poultry supply up to 75-80%.
Such a forecast was voiced by general director of international Halal center of standardization and certification Aydar Gazizov at Agroinvest-Russia 2017 international summit in Moscow.
"I think that 75-80% of poultry exported abroad will be 'halal' in two-three years. It is quite clear, it is the vector of development connected with geopolitics, we will export production to Arabic and Muslim countries," he said.
According to him, the center is communicating with colleagues from these countries. "They say that our production is interesting in price and quality. Many of them note that they would like to split the players working at their markets, for example, Brazil," he said.
