Priozersk, January 17, Interfax - Priest Gleb Grozovsky, who has been sentenced to 14 years in a high-security prison for seducing minors, intends to appeal the sentence, an Interfax correspondent reported from the courthouse.
"The sentence has yet to take effect. It is not valid for now. We have ten days to file an appeal, and this is what we will do," Grozovsky told reporters in the courtroom after the sentence was pronounced.
The appeal will be lodged with the Leningrad Regional Court.
Earlier today, the Priozersk City Court in the Leningrad Region passed a 14-year sentence on Grozovsky on pedophilia charges.
