Moscow, May 27, Interfax - A meeting between Vladimir Putin and Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia addressed the plans to build a church in Yekaterinburg, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Yes. They addressed that matter," Peskov said on Monday, responding to a question from journalists.
The Russian president and the patriarch "frankly exchange their opinions on the most topical and various of issues" in their meetings, he said.
Responding to a follow-up question as to whether Putin and Patriarch Kirill see eye-to-eye on the construction of the church in Yekaterinburg," Peskov said: "Unfortunately, I can't tell you anymore. It's their private exchange of opinions."
