Moscow, December 9, Interfax - A number of facilities in Moscow, including courts, educational establishments, shopping malls, and the Christ the Savior Cathedral, have received bomb threats, an informed source told Interfax on Monday.
"The wave of anonymous bomb threats is continuing. About ten educational establishments, a number of shopping malls, and the Christ the Savior Cathedral are being checked," the source said.
The bomb threats are being verified, the source said.
Twelve Moscow district courts received bomb threats earlier today. About 1,000 staff members and visitors were evacuated. Most courts have already returned to work.
A wave of false bomb threats to Moscow and St. Petersburg courts began on November 28. Several courts, schools, and shopping malls have been receiving false bomb threats almost daily over this period.
