One more Russian Orthodox metropolitan carries out air procession with cross against coronavirus

Moscow, April 2, Interfax - Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk backed up the idea of hierarchs from other dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church and flew on board of a helicopter over Stavropol with a cross blessed in Jerusalem and particles of the relics.

Patriarch Kirill's press service reports on Thursday that the head of Stavropol Metropolia "say a special prayer" for the sick and to stop the pandemic in cities, countries and the whole world.

Earlier, air processions with cross were held by governing hierarchs of Minsk and Belgorod. Today the Metropolitan of Minsk decided to take off again and flew along the state borders of Byelorussia.
