Lenin can be buried in the Monastery of the Intercession in Ulyanovsk

Ulyanovsk, October 10, Interfax - Ulyanovsk Regional Governor Sergey Morozov has proposed to the country leaders to bury Vladimir Lenin in the Ulyanovsk soil.

‘As studied have shown, most of the people in Ulyanovsk, in case it is decided to bury Lenin’s body, would like to have this procedure accomplished in Ulyanovsk. The burial place can be found at the cemetery of the former Monastery of the Intercession where Lenin’s father, Ilya Ulyanov, was buried’, reads the press release put on Monday on the official website of the regional governor and government.

According to Morozov, ‘For most people and guests of the region, Ulyanovsk has remained to this day the homeland of the leader of the world proletariat’.
