Moscow, April 26, Interfax - The Moscow Patriarchate official expects religious activity to grow in Russia though attacks against believers will also become more frequent.
"More and more people will get involved in the orbit of religious and public processes. Naturally, it will meet opposition. Unfortunately, I'm almost sure that the actions (antireligious - IF) that were held are not the last and may be not the toughest," head of the Synodal Department for Church and Society Relations Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin said on Thursday at hearings in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
He announced the next action near the Cathedral of Christ the Savior next Sunday.
"I think that something similar will be held in the future as the society, in particular, the believers will have to respond it," the priest said.
