Moscow, April 28, Interfax - Small copy of St. Basil Cathedral will be made of sand in Moscow culture preserve Kolomenskoye where an exhibition of sand sculpture called Great History of Russia will be held on May 1.
Masters from Russia, Poland, Italy, Spain, Ireland will create monumental sculptures that demonstrate Russian warriors in major Russian battles - the Battle of Ice, the Battle of Kulikovo, the Battle of Borodino, the Battle of Poltava, the Patriotic War 1812, the culture preserve press service told Interfax-Religion on Saturday.
The biggest sand sculpture seven meters high is dedicated to great Russian writers and poets. Visitors will also see Russian scientists and renowned travelers, discoverers of new Russian lands. Unique small copy of St. Basil Cathedral, works by Andrey Rublyov and other renowned people who contributed in Russian history will also be among exhibits.
