Patriarch Kirill returned from Bulgaria with a sheepdog

Sofia, May 2, Interfax - Students of Sofia University of Cultural Heritage gave Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia a puppy of Bulgarian sheepdog as a present.

Two-month-old puppy is called Trajan after a Bulgarian tsar. He will live in a patriarchal residence in Peredelkino, the patriarchal press service told journalists.

The dog accompanied the Primate during his flight from Sofia to Moscow in a special container for transporting animals. First, the puppy started barking in new surroundings, but then calmed down.

The Primate visited the educational establishment on the last day of his visit to Bulgaria.

It is not the first such present given to Patriarch Kirill. In January 2011, children who came to the Patriarchal Christmas Party to the State Kremlin Palace gave him a puppy of Polish mountain shepherd.
