Putin submits bill to Duma under which Bible, Quran, Tanakh, Kanjur can't be recognized as extremist

Moscow, October 15, Interfax - President Vladimir Putin has submitted to the State Duma a federal bill amending the federal law On Resisting Extremist Activities.
In compliance with the document posted on the State Duma database the lawOn Resisting Extremist Activitiesshall be supplemented with Article 3.1 stating the following:
"Article 3.1. The specifics of application of Russian Federation legislation on resistance to extremist activities regarding religious texts.
The Bible, Quran, Tanah and Kanjur, their contents and quotes from them cannot be recognized as extremist materials."
