Moscow, December 3, Interfax - Ruling elite of Turkey got out of their mind and it is Allah's punishment, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his address to the Federal Assembly.
"Perhaps, only Allah knows why they did it (hit the Russian Su-24 -IF) and perhaps Allah decided to punish the ruling faction of Turkey depriving it of mind and reason," the head of the Russian state said.
He stressed that any contradictions "that we did not even see, could have been settled in a different way."
"Moreover, we were ready to cooperate with Turkey on the most painful for it questions, and we were ready to go as far as their allies did not wish to," Putin said.
