First Russian Orthodox Church clergyman dies of coronavirus

Moscow, April 10, Interfax - Alexander Gusev, protodeacon of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, died of coronavirus at the age of 57 on Thursday, protodeacon Andrey Kurayev said on social media on Friday.
Father Alexander served in the Church of Holy Royal Martyrs in Reno, Nevada, the United States, where he also helped in a hospital. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and coronavirus the week before.
He is survived by his mother, wife, and son.
