Orthodox church robbed in China

    Beijing, October 18, Interfax - The Orthodox St. Innokenty of Irkutsk Church in the city of Ergun (E'erguna) in the Chinese Autonomous region of Inner Mongolia has been robbed.

    The robbery occurred in the early hours of October 15, head of the St. Peter and Paul Church in Hong Kong archpriest Dionisy Pozdnyayev toldInterfax-Religionon Monday.

    The robbers stole a box with cash donations and several other items. An inquiry into the incident is under way.
