Moscow, August 17, Interfax - Police have detained opposition Left Frontcoordinator Sergey Udaltsov near Moscow's Khamovnichesky Court, which is expected to hand down its verdict in the case of all-female punk groupPussy Riotperformers on Friday.
After speaking to journalists, Udaltsov approached the police cordon and tried to enter the court building, anInterfaxcorrespondent has reported.
After a brief conversation with policemen, Udaltsov was detained and put into a police bus.
